The structural dialogue on justice between the EU and B&H will expand on certain issues and commitments from chapter 24 related to corruption, announced a diplomatic source from Brussels for “Dnevni Avaz”.
Also, the dialogue will continue to include topics from post-visa monitoring for B&H.
As “Avaz” was informed, the B&H government is expected to be invited soon to start working on legislation, bylaws, strategic and action documents related to the fight against corruption and organized crime.
The first meeting of EU representatives with B&H officials in regard to the expansion of structural dialogue on issues from chapter 24, meaning the fight against corruption, will be held on Friday, 7 March, most probably in Sarajevo.
Chapter 24, in short, involves the close and effective cooperation between judicial authorities and police agencies in the fight for the rule of law, against corruption and organized crime. This chapter must be applied from every country that wants to join the EU and to become a full member.
