A representative of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nikola Lovrinović met in Bratislava on the sidelines of the Spring Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO (NATO PA), with NATO PA President Madeleine Moon and Secretary-General of the International Secretariat of NATO PA David Hobbs.

The NATO PA International Secretariat has expressed its willingness to support any agreement of the relevant BiH institutions on the organization of the Rose-Roth Seminar.

Lovrinović suggested that the seminar could be held outside Sarajevo, which, as Lovrinović said, would be a contribution to mutual understanding and confidence within BiH.

NATO PA officials stressed that, despite the different views regarding the activation of the Membership Action Plan (MAP) for BiH, they have commended the message that BiH will continue its cooperation and partnership with NATO. Therefore, representatives of the NATO PA International Secretariat see in the Rose-Roth Seminars’ Initiative an opportunity to intensify internal dialogue on continuing the cooperation and partnership of our country with NATO.

Lovrinović also spoke with NATO PA Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee, the US Congressman Michael Turner about this initiative, Federal News Agency reports.
