Member of B&H Presidency Nеbојšа Rаdmаnоvić thanked Macedonian Ambassador Rеxhеpi for his work and dedication as part of his diplomatic duties are representative of Macedonia in B&H. On this occasion, B&H presidency member Rаdmаnоvić stressed that the ambassador’s engagement in B&H at this post marked the improvement of the good relations between B&H and Macedonia.
Ambassador Rexhepi spoke to B&H presidency member Rаdmаnоvić about the political situation in Macedonia. He informed the members of the B&H presidency that presidential elections will take place in Macedonia this year. The Ambassador noted the bilateral dispute between Macedonia and Greece regarding the name of the country, which has been going on for a long time without any concrete progress.
He added that this year marks the ten years since the airplane crash in B&H, which took the life of former President of Macedonia Boris Trajkovski, and announced the start of certain activities and the arrival of a high official delegation of Macedonia for this occasion in February.
Member of B&H Presidency Rаdmаnоvić briefly informed Ambassador Rexhepi on the current political situation regarding the discussions on the implementation of the ‘Sејdić-Finci’ case, and the harmonization of the B&H Constitution with the European Convention on Human Rights. At the end of the discussion, B&H presidency member Sејdić wished Ambassador Rexhepi success in his future professional and private life.
