All those who send photographs through the application on the Facebook site of Red Cross B&H by 23 January 2014 can participate in the competition.

The photographs can show the contribution of the elderly in society, acquiring new skills and knowledge, for which it is never too late, socializing between old and new generations, taking care of one’s health and vitality, basically everything that the author sees as healthy examples of active aging.

By participating in the contest, authors become a part of the campaign, for which Red Cross B&H wishes to draw attention to the importance of the role of the elderly in society and our responsibility to create the conditions where everyone in old age has a good quality of life and opportunities to use their potential.

B&H Red Cross said that B&H is not an exception to the worldwide trend of an aging population, and that by 2015, out of the total population in B&H, people older than 60 will make up 21,1 percent.
