B&H Returned to FIDE List

sah matThe World Chess Organization (FIDE) announced the rating list for February of the best players in the world. The most important news for B&H chess players is that they were returned to the list, after being kicked out in January for not paying their dues to the Chess Union.

Due to a debt of 3.700 Euros, FIDE omitted B&H from the January list, which means that next to the names of B&H chess players, their rating was not shown. This was a huge disappointment for professionals and amateurs, who regard their international rating as a huge personal success.

Regarding the list of the best B&H players, Predrag Nikolić is at the top. Emir Dizdarević is in 4th place, while the biggest surprise of B&H chess is 18 year old master Denis Kadrić (7th place), who improved his rating by four points, and is now 15 points away from the title of grandmaster.
