B&H still 22nd on FIFA Rankings

FIFA Rankings svet.rsThe football national team of B&H maintained its position on FIFA rankings. On the new list, the Dragons are on the 22nd place in the ranking of the best world national teams with 898 points.

Although it did not qualify for the European Championships, the football national team of B&H maintained a relatively good position on FIFA rankings, given that it is still the 22nd best national team in the world.

However, changes on the list which encompasses December matches could hardly be expected given that the majority of national teams did not play any matches during that months, thus the changes were minor.

The leading ten national teams maintained their positions, and what is especially interesting is that the opponent of B&H in the next qualifying cycle, the national team of Belgium, is still in the first place.

  1. (1) Belgium 1494
  2. (2) Argentina 1455
  3. (3) Spain 1370
  4. (4) Germany 1347
  5. (5) Chile 1269
  6. (6) Brazil 1251
  7. (7) Portugal 1219
  8. (8) Columbia 1211
  9. (9) England 1106
  10. (10) Austria 1091

Regarding other opponents of B&H in the qualifications, Greece is 41st with 706 points, Cyprus regressed by one position and is now 80th with 441 points, while Estonia progressed by three positions and is now 90th with 369 points.

B&H national team is to play first matches of the next qualifications in September this year.
