The US President Joseph Biden said after a meeting with the presidents of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the European Council, Charles Michel, that the European Union and America are together in providing support to Israel and Ukraine.
During the meeting at the White House, disagreements in the trade sector were also discussed.
EU and US trade negotiators failed to reach a deal to resolve long-running trade disputes ahead of a summit at the White House today, but Washington agreed to continue cutting tariffs on steel and aluminum and that talks would continue.
“Sometimes we have disagreements, but that’s why we’re here to cooperate and find solutions that will work for companies and workers,” said Michel, the Times of Israel reports.
