The goal of the action is the sterilization of 3.000 dogs in order to prevent the birth of around 30.000 unwanted puppies.

Dogs Trust is encouraging dog owners to sterilize their dogs, while catchers have the task of returning stray dogs to the place of their original habitat after sterilization and basic medical treatment.

The cover face of the campaign is actor Enis Bešlagić, who is also the owner of a dog and who in this way wishes to draw attention to the public on the necessity of solving the problem of the large number of stray dogs in BiH.

During the action, citizens can become more informed by called 033 83 76 49 or check the facebook page for Dogs Trust BiH (www.facebook.com/DogsTrustBiH).

On 30 May, there will be a competition for the happiest sterilized dog, where citizens will have the opportunity to send pictures of their sterilized dogs.

Upon the end of the action, the happiest and healthiest dog in our area will be named.

Dogs Trust BiH said that sterilization is a humane way to reduce the number of stray dogs and the large number of unwanted pregnancies. Sterilized dogs are less noisy and intrusive.

Given that sterilized dogs are vaccinated and cured of parasites, they will be healthier when they are returned to their natural habitat, announced the PR agency for Dogs Trust BH “Propaganda”.
