BiH among the most desired Destinations in Eastern Europe for 2017

mostar tourismArgophilia Travel News presented their list of the top 10 countries in Eastern Europe that travel lovers should visit next year, and in the eighth place is BiH.

Eastern Europe is a very attractive area, rich in nature, diverse landscapes, hidden gems and cities that will surprise you with its beauty. Also, you can find ancient traditions, historical attractions, delicious traditional food and much more. This part of the world offers something for every kind of traveler, from those who are seeking for luxury, to fans of a true adventure.

On the tenth place is Belarus, the country of 11,000 lakes. Belarus is a paradise on Earth for nature lovers. Much of its territory is covered with forests, thousands of lakes are surrounded by outstanding nature that is suitable for hikers, and Minsk is a very exciting city. What you should definitely visit in Belarus is Nesvizh castle, which is on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites.

The ninth place went to Moldova, the perfect place for wine lovers. Did you know that Moldova is the seventh largest wine exporter in the world? This is why it is called “the country with the door open for a paradise of wine”. Two of the biggest worldwide wine cellars are in Moldova, the largest on the world is Milestii Mici winery, and the second largest is the Cricova winery. The total length of underground cellars in Milestii Mici winery is 200 kilometers.

On the eighth place is BiH, which was named for a rising star in the Balkan Peninsula. In the text was also stated that the number of tourists in BiH is constantly increasing, and that Sarajevo is among the top 50 cities in the world. According to the World Tourism Organization, BiH will be the third country with the highest rate of tourism growth between the year of 1995 and 2020. Mostar was named as the destination to visit, destination full of charm.

In the third place is Croatia, which has been named as the top destination for motorcyclists. Croatia was the most popular destination for bikers in 2013, and it still is. For those who are interested in something else, Croatia has a lot to offer. There are national parks, beautiful coasts attractive for sailing, diving and other water sports, such as Istria, Kvarener, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik indispensable.

The second place went to fascinating Czech Republic that never loses its charm. Prag is known as the most popular destination and tourists also love destinations such as Kutna Hora and Cesky Raj. For lovers of beer, Plzen is famous destination. Favorite destination of Argophilia Travel News is Ostrava, especially during the season of mushrooms.

And finally, in the first place is Greece, the cradle of the gods. The most popular destination is Athens, followed by the idyllic islands of Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes and Crete. However, the most visited part of the country is North Greece, with destinations such as Thessaloniki, Komotini, Ioannina and Larissa.
