BiH and Italy are ready to improve Cooperation in the Exchange of forensic Staff and Education

At a meeting with the director of the Agency for Forensic Investigations and Expertises, Radiša Samardžija, representatives of the police structures of Italy emphasized the need to improve and concretize further cooperation in the field of exchange of forensic staff and education in specific forensic specialist disciplines.

The representatives of the police structures of Italy expressed their willingness to invest additional efforts with the aim of strengthening the existing cooperation, the Agency for Forensic Investigations and Expertises announced.

At the meeting, Samardžija presented the organizational structure of the Agency for Forensic Investigations and Expertises, as well as the results so far and the problems it faces in its work.

He highlighted the previous successful cooperation of the Agency for Forensic Examinations and Expertises with the forensic institutions of Italy, which was reflected in the trainings at the Arma dei Carabinieri (RaCIS) in Rome, as well as those held by their experts in the Agency’s premises.

The meeting was attended by the police attache of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Giovani Rico, and the security expert at the International Police Cooperation Office, Giovani Komunale, as well as the deputy director of the Agency for Forensic Investigations and Expertises, Alen Husković, and the head of the Support Department, Sanja Pržulj.
