Farmers are Protesting in front of the City Administration of Banja Luka

Due to unpaid subsidies, a huge number of farmers gathered in front of the City Administration of the City of Banjaluka with tractors to express their dissatisfaction with the work of Mayor Draško Stanivuković, who, they say, did not pay the subsidies provided for in the 2023 budget.

As they said after the announcement of the protest, Stanivuković announced that part of those funds would be paid out, but he did not specify exactly how much.

They point out that he cannot pay the full amount, considering that it was spent somewhere else.

“Subsidies for farmers were spent on roundabouts, pedestrian crossings and the illegal demolition of the Krajišks house where farmers cannot sell their products,” said the president of MZ Donja Kola, Srđan Ćutković, Nezavisne writes.
