The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija and the Prime Minister of Montenegro Dusko Markovic opened today on the road Niksic – Bileca a joint border crossing Vracenovici, the value of the investment is more than 2.5 million euros.

Tegeltija said in his address that this is another in a series of successfully realized projects of BiH and Montenegro with the European Union and expressed hope that this is not the last and that in the coming years there will be even larger realized successful projects.

“In the coming years, we will do our best to ensure that other border crossings between BiH and Montenegro are as they should be in the 21st century,” Tegeltija pointed out.

The joint border crossing “Vracenovici” was built on the territory of Montenegro, and the integration of two border crossings into one joint one, in which the border services of BiH and Montenegro operate from today, simplifies the border crossing between these two countries.

This modern border crossing has an area of 9,000 meters, with three entrance and three exit lanes, as well as one special lane for trucks.

The construction of the joint border crossing “Vracenovici” started at the end of February, when it was closed due to the construction of traffic infrastructure.
