The thirtieth anniversary of mutual recognition and establishment of diplomatic relations between the Slovak Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina is being marked today.
The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic sent his most sincere congratulations on this occasion.
– Slovakia stands by you in support of EU integration and is ready to provide assistance in the implementation of the necessary reforms. We wish continuous progress and success to our people – it was stated in the Twitter post of Minister Rastislav Kácer.
The Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Sarajevo, Roman Hlobeň, said that “on the occasion of this important jubilee, we can say with certainty that in the past 30 years, strong friendly and partnership relations have been established between our two countries, based on political and practical support for BiH in its process of transformation and modernization and Euro-Atlantic integration”.
– It is my honor and pleasure to work on further strengthening of our mutual relations in all fields and for the mutual benefit of our two friendly countries – said the ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Sarajevo Hlobeň.
As part of marking this significant anniversary, the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Sarajevo published pictures from its archive, together with personal reflections of three former ambassadors to Bosnia and Herzegovina – Miroslav Mojžita, Ján Pšenica and Martin Kača.
These short statements summarize their personal experiences and impressions during their mandates in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which give us insight into the strong ties we have established between our two countries over the past three decades, the Embassy of the Slovak Republic announced.
