The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSBiH) in cooperation with the European Union Forces (EUFOR) will hold a multinational military exercise “Combined Response 25” from June 8 to 13 in the area of Bihać and Manjaca.

The deployment of EUFOR forces will begin on June 8, and the withdrawal of forces is scheduled for June 13. During this time, the local population may notice an increased presence of soldiers and military vehicles in these areas, EUFOR said.

This joint exercise, hosted by the BiH Armed Forces, is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international military relations through combined training activities. Combined Response 25 is specifically designed to train and refine peace support operations (PSO) tactics at the company and battalion level.

The exercise will focus on improving: command and control capabilities, planning and execution of peace support operations, interoperability of multinational military units.

The exercise will culminate in a Senior Officials Day on 12 June, when an operational capability demonstration exercise will be held. The event will be attended by the EUFOR Commander, Major General Florin Marian Barbu, and senior command staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Further information regarding the Senior Officials Day, including invitations for media representatives, will be sent in the coming days.

Combined Response 25 reflects the shared commitment of EUFOR and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina to maintaining a secure and stable environment through the promotion of professional military cooperation, EUFOR said.
