The difficult life of the Djukic family from Kuljani did not leave the leadership of Addiko Bank Banja Luka indifferent, and this bank decided to write off all the remaining housing loan in the amount of 82,500 BAM.

Lives of Dragana (35), Radijan (33), Sara (10) and Jovan (2, 5) drastically changed since November last year: the little boy was diagnosed with leukemia, and three months later, due to stress and worry, Radijan barely survived ripping of aorta, as reported by Blic.

“Considering the really difficult situation in which the Djukic family was found, we decided to help them and write off their loan. We wanted to make it easier for them to treat their child,” said Mario Ivankovic, the director of Addiko Bank Ltd. Banja Luka.

Ivankovic noted that, in accordance with their possibilities, they are trying to help different projects and activities, in order to improve the local communities in which they operate.

Radijan and Dragana were relieved with the news that Addiko Bank had written off their entire loan.

Djukic’s are known as a hard-working and honest family, who lives from its own work and effort.

Although Jovan and Radijan are currently recovering well, their fight is still ongoing.

This family has no income – Dragana cannot work because she is taking Jovan on medical exams, and she also has to be with her husband to help him.
