The national basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated the Swiss team in the fourth round of World Cup qualifiers tonight in Kriens with a score of 91:60.

The chosen ones of coach Dario Gjergje defeated the Swiss for the second time in four days and thus secured at least third place in group C and placement in the second round of qualifications.

BiH basketball players imposed their pace of play from the beginning and had an advantage that reached 16 points at the end of the first half. In the continuation of the match, the representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina completely outclassed the home selection and at the end celebrated a convincing victory.

Džanan Musa was the most efficient player of the BiH team with 25 points with seven rebounds and four assists, while Amar Alibegović and Emir Sulejmanović scored 13 points each.

In the Swiss selection, Boris Mbala was the most effective with nine points.

In the second match in the group, Turkey beat Serbia in Istanbul with 94:86 and secured the first position.

In July, BiH will play the remaining two matches in the qualifiers, as a host against Turkey and away against Serbia.
