The Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina is making maximum efforts to protect the border, said the director of that police agency, Mirko Kuprešaković, at a meeting with the police attaché of the Embassy of Austria in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Karlheinz Gortan.

During the discussion about the current security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kuprešaković highlighted the significant activities of members of the BiH Border Police in the past period with the aim of suppressing cross-border crime, the Border Police announced.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance and strengthening of the further maintenance of established professional ties and relationships.

Today’s working meeting was, first of all, held for the purpose of recapitulating the cooperation so far and agreeing on new directions of joint action, it was stated in the announcement.

Kuprešaković expressed his gratitude to the police attache for the support he provides to the BiH Border Police.
