The Council of Ministers of BiH, at its 68th extraordinary telephone session, unanimously adopted, at the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Decision on the approval of funds from the current reserve of the Budget of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of BiH for 2025 to the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange (IDDEEA) of BiH in the amount of 1,589,000 BAM.

The funds were approved for the purpose of implementing contractual obligations for license plates, identity cards, driver’s licenses and travel documents.

This enables the uninterrupted continuation of the issuance of personal documents and license plates in Bosnia and Herzegovina, after the Law on the Budget of the Institutions of BiH and International Obligations of BiH for 2025 reduced the amount of funds approved for IDDEEA below the upper limit of expenditures in relation to the planned funds.

The Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of BiH and the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH are tasked with the implementation of this decision.
