The session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled for today, and the ministers will have an extensive agenda with a series of proposals, decisions, regulations, information and reports. It is, among other things, a Proposal of Opinion on the Proposal of the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of BiH, the Proposal of the demining plan in BiH for 2026, and Information on the state of the Public Administration Reform Fund.
On the proposed agenda there are more than a dozen items covering different areas of work of BiH institutions, and the ministers will, among other things, consider decisions related to the allocation of space to the Ministry of Security of BiH for the establishment of an asylum office and a team to respond to computer incidents, as well as supplementary decisions on salary supplements for employees of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
It is also planned to consider several ordinances, including the ordinance on the appearance of judicial police uniforms, the ordinance on the use of funds for the national team and gifts, as well as the ordinance on the categorization of athletes at the state level.
Among the more important topics are changes to the List of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors, as well as the appointment of members of the BiH Metrology Council.
The ministers will also consider a number of information related to reform processes and sector policies, including the implementation of GRECO recommendations, the state of organic production in BiH, and activities in the field of defense, including programs for the transition and disposal of discharged military personnel.
On the agenda are numerous reports on the work of institutions and the implementation of strategic documents, among which are reports on the execution of the budget of BiH institutions, on financial management and control, on the fight against money laundering, on border management, as well as on the implementation of the “Partnership for Open Government” initiative.
It is planned to consider reports on the work of several agencies and bodies at the BiH level, as well as an analysis in the field of foreign trade exchange and migration.
Also, the ministers will comment on the proposal for concluding a memorandum on cooperation in the field of tourism between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State of Qatar.
