The football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina beat Poland tonight in Zenica with a score of 1:0 in the match of the fourth round of the League of Nations B. The Dragons are unbeaten after their opening four games and are well on their way to securing a second hat-trick in the upcoming Euro 2028 qualifiers.
The scorer of the winning goal was Ivan Bašić, who scored from the penalty spot in the 84th minute, after the intervention of VAR technology. This was Bašić’s first goal in the jersey of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Tabaković’s goal was previously disallowed, also after a VAR check, when it was established that Demirović was in an illegal position and that, according to the referees, he influenced the game.
