Increase in export of BiH to China and attracting Chinese investments to Bosnia and Herzegovina are the main expectations from the participation of the BiH delegation in the fair 2nd CHINA CEEC (Central and Eastern European countries) Investment and Trade Expo 2016 which is to be held from June 8 until 12 in the Chinese city of Ningbo, confirmed the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH.
Two BiH companies participated in the fair last year, whereas ten companies will participate this year: PTP Hercegovinavino Ltd, Winery Čitluk JSC, Wine Cellars Andrija Ltd, Anđelić Ltd, Halilović Ltd, Komrad Ltd, Nature Line Ltd, Smilje i bosilje Ltd, Hepok Ltd and Novel Orient Ltd.
A Ministerial conference will also be held within the fair, as well as the third seminar of chambers of commerce of China and the countries of the Central and Eastern Europe, the third meeting of the contact mechanisms for investment promotion i.e. seminar of agencies for promotion of investments of China and the countries of the Central and Eastern Europe, and numerous bilateral meetings of representatives of institutions, organizations, and businessmen.
The Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH stated that by organizing the performance of BiH companies at the fair, together with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, they also supported BiH companies, hoping that good results will be achieved which will facilitate the entrance of BiH products on the huge Chinese market.
Moreover, it was pointed out that there is great interest of Chinese importers in BiH products, and that could be heard and seen several times during visits by Chinese delegations. In addition, also expected is the strengthening of cooperation between chambers of trade and agencies for investment promotion.
BiH delegation will be led by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Sarovic, while the head of delegation of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH will be the Vice-President Nemanja Vasi・. Director of Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH Gordan Milini・ will also be in the official delegation.
