Members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) to the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO (PA NATO), Kemal Ademović, Marina Pendeš and Obren Petrović, discussed today in Luxembourg, on the sidelines of the PA NATO session are today with a member of the Congress of the United States of America and a member of the US Congressional Delegation to PA NATO, Michael Turner, about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Members of the PA BiH Delegation to PA NATO informed Congressman Turner about the current political situation in BiH, assessing that a visible shift has been made in the functioning of BiH institutions after the end of the process of establishing the government in BiH.
They emphasized that the current atmosphere promises better results because there is more mutual discussion. According to the opinion of the members of the Delegation, a more serious approach is taken to solving problems and there is an expressed willingness to solve open issues.
Congressman Turner, who was the mayor of Dayton at the time of the signing of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH, expressed his willingness to cooperate on projects that make Bosnia and Herzegovina a credible partner on its Euro-Atlantic path, the PA BiH Public Relations Department announced.
