matterhornA four-member BiH expedition, which includes the Minister of Transportation and Communications of BiH Ismir Jusko and the alpinist Tomislav Cvitanušić, yesterday won the peak of Matterhorn, located on the border between Switzerland and Italy.

Minister Jusko published photographs from the top of Matterhorn on his Facebook profile. Matterhorn is one of the five most dangerous mountains in the world.

“We made it, a small BiH expedition yesterday managed to climb to the top of Matterhorn. What is even better is the fact that a member of our expedition was Mima Vasić, officially the first female climber who got to the top of this mountain,” Jusko wrote.

The highest peak of Matterhorn is at 4.478 meters above sea level and it is one of the highest peaks in Europe.

In early 2015, Jusko, Cvitanušić and Ermin Lipović won the highest peak of South America – Aconcagua.
