The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, sent her condolences to the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić, and to the families of those killed in the mass murder in Cetinje, stating that the thoughts of the citizens of BiH are with them.

Krišto wished the injured a speedy recovery, and those affected by this tragedy the strength to overcome the unimaginable pain.

“Our thoughts are with you,” Krišto wrote on the social network “X”.

Condolences to the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, and the families of those killed in the tragic event in Cetinje were also sent by the members of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, Željko Komšić, and Denis Bećirović.

“In these difficult moments, I extend my deepest condolences and sympathy to you, the families of the victims, and the citizens of Montenegro, and my wishes to the injured for a speedy recovery and the strength to overcome the consequences of this senseless act,” the Chairperson of the Presidency of BiH stated.

In a telephone conversation with Milatović, Komšić emphasized the support and solidarity of the citizens of BiH with the citizens of Montenegro in these difficult times. He wished the injured a successful recovery, the Presidency of BiH announced.

“With deep regret and sadness, I received the news of the terrible massacre in Cetinje, which took innocent lives and left a great void in the hearts of the families who lost their loved ones. On behalf of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on my own behalf, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to you, the families of the victims and the citizens of Montenegro,” said Bećirović.

Telegrams of condolences were also sent by numerous other BiH officials.

Twelve people, including two children, were killed yesterday in a mass crime in Cetinje, while doctors from the Clinical Center in Podgorica are fighting for the lives of four Cetinje residents.

The mass crime was committed by Aleksandar Martinović, who then committed suicide, Srna writes.
