Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konaković confirmed today that the Council of Ministers adopted information on the recognition of diplomas and business qualifications within the framework of the Berlin process.

“This is a very important process for the wide regional market that the Western Balkans countries need, and now the adopted Information will be forwarded to BiH Presidency,” he added.

He expressed the hope that the issue of movement with identity cards will soon be resolved, stressing that political agreement is still awaited and that this will enable the mobility of people, services and goods.

“This topic is also being analyzed from the political side, probably colleagues from Republika Srpska are still waiting for Serbia’s decision in which the decisions on this should be ratified in their parliament, while Montenegro has recently completed this,” he said.

After the political leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a joint declaration on state property, Konaković pointed out that he expects greater involvement of the international community in this regard.

He stated that the issue of state property can only be discussed in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the management models of that property, while its owner cannot be questioned.

He praised the initiative of Denis Bećirović, a member of the BiH Presidency, which was signed and which for him represents an important reminder of the common and unique position of the pro-Bosnian bloc, Fena reports.
