BiH FM: “I saw Evidence that People trained Moldovan Teams in BiH on behalf of the Russian Federation“

After the information appeared a few days ago that suspicious persons were staying in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), whose aim was to train people to act during the elections about Moldova, and who could at some point act as elements against public gatherings, Elmedin Konakovic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, commented on that issue.

As a reminder, Ilija Cvitanovic, a member of the Joint Commission for Oversight of the Work of the Intelligence and Security Agency in BiH (OSA) recently confirmed these allegations but denied allegations in certain media that there were training camps.

“We have not received the details since it is an operational matter, but there are no camps. At one point, suspicious citizens from the east were staying in BiH, but it was not about any kind of camps. The reasons for their stay in BiH are being determined,” said Cvitanovic at the time.

Konakovic also did not mention the camps, but he did confirm that there were people who trained Moldovan teams in BiH.

“It is true, we had people who came on behalf of and at the expense of the Russian Federation and trained the members of the Moldovan teams. I don’t have exact evidence or examples that it was some kind of military training, but it was certainlysome kind of training that concerns even the organization of some protests or going out on the street. And for that there is evidence that I personally saw that such groups were operating in BiH”, said Konakovic.

He then asserted that “it once again confirms what I keep repeating, which is that negative Russian influence in the heart of Europe”.

“And against which BiH cannot fight alone. It must have the support of its European partners and let the European Union (EU) support us at least half as much as Russia supports its proxies in the west of Europe, and I think that then we will easily deal with those who destabilize BiH and the region, and therefore Europe,” stated Konakovic.

And Nenad Nesic, the Minister of Security of BiH, spoke out on this issue, stating that the security agencies in our country do not have information that there were any training camps for people from Moldova.

As stated in the statement from the Ministry, Nesic once again called on the police and intelligence structures from Moldova, but also from all over the world, to provide BiH with evidence of what is being claimed.

He is convinced that in case any camps exist in BiH, even in Republika Srpska (RS), such information would have been available much earlier to the police and intelligence agencies of the United States (U.S.) as the most powerful force.
