BiH FM met with the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, met today in Antalya with the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Singapore, Gan Siow Huang.

During the talks, the good and friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Singapore were confirmed, and it was emphasized that there are no open issues between the two countries. The interlocutors agreed that it is important to continue strengthening cooperation through the exchange of high-level visits, which will contribute to deepening political dialogue and opening new opportunities for joint projects.

Minister Konaković praised Singapore’s economic success and its role as a global financial and innovation center, and invited Singaporean investors and businesspeople to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina and explore possibilities for cooperation. The importance of developing economic relations was also emphasized, with the assessment that there are significant unused capacities, especially in the areas of industry, trade, education, science, culture and sports.

Minister Konaković informed his interlocutor about the current political situation in the country, reform processes and progress on the European path, emphasizing that European integration is a strategic goal of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the end of the meeting, the readiness of both sides to continue intensive dialogue in the coming period and to concretize mutually beneficial projects was confirmed, which will further strengthen friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Singapore.
