The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarah Eta Castellani, on an inaugural visit.

Minister Konaković welcomed Ambassador Castellani to Bosnia and Herzegovina and thanked her for the sincere support that the Republic of Italy provides to BiH in its efforts to progress in integration processes that are of crucial importance to both Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region.

Minister Konaković emphasized that further support and assistance in the coming months is very important because nothing is finished until BiH becomes part of the European family.

The interlocutors agreed that the bilateral relations between the two countries are extremely good and that there is a continuous and constructive political dialogue and an evident mutual great interest in strengthening economic relations, trade and cooperation in the sectors of agriculture, tourism and culture.

Minister Konaković wished Ambassador Sarah Eta Castellani much success in her work during her mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
