BiH FM spoke about Stereotypes and put a Headscarf in the middle of the Conference

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina(BiH), Bisera Turkovic, put a headscarf for a moment during yesterday’s press conference organized on the occasion of meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.

Turkovic said that there is no equal approach to all problems and denials of human rights.

“There are talks about rights in Afghanistan, there are talksabout rights in Palestine, and about human rights in our country. As you know very well, there are two schools under one roof in our country, also there are bans on the use of our own language, but there is one more thing – there are stereotypes that are deeply rooted even though we live in the heart of Europe, even though we are a European nation, we cultivate multiculturalism and multireligiousness,” mentioned Turkovic.

After that, Turkovic put a headscarf and said:

“Imagine if I addressed you today covered like this. What would be your perception, what would be your stereotype. I think that human rights include the right to clothing so let everyone wear what they want and let everyone be treated equally,” concluded Turkovic yesterday, Klix.ba reports.
