In the upcoming week, before the final match of Champions League, the UEFA is organising the European Day of Football or UEFA Grassroots Day, reports Fena.
The basic philosophy of UEFA ‘Grasroots’ program is that football must be open to all, regardless of sex, ability, ethnicity , religion or race, said BIH Football Federation who’ll join the celebration of the ‘Grassroots Day’ with the manifestation for boys and girls from 8 to 10 years of age on 22 May at stadium ‘Glasinac’ in Sokolac.
Youngest players of football clubs of Sarajevo,Željezničar, Olimpic, Novi Grad, Napad, Slavija, Piksi, Olimp, Glasinac, Fojnica, Mostar, Široki Brijeg, Brijesnicce Donje, Radnik, SFK 2000, Mladost Nević Polje, Salt City, boys and girls from the institution ‘Special Olympics, Association ‘Oaza’, International Solidarity Forum ‘Beskućnici’ Doboj-Istok, and ‘Dom porodica’ Zenica will participate at the competition.
Technical director of BiH FF Denijal Pirić said that on that day he wants that youngest of BIH enjoy football and added that in Sokolac there all necessary resources to mark and promote UEFA Grassroots Day the best way we can. He noted that around 1000 boys and girls from all parts of BiH will participate.
