The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, called on the security agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina to respond urgently to death threats, which were sent to him and the leader of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Nermin Nikšić via social networks.
Konaković announced that he expects serious and urgent reactions from the security agencies in order to discover the creators of these threats. In the published threat, it is stated that “the murder of Konaković and Nikšić must be carried out”, because “the whole world laughs at Bosnians”, and the hiring of a professional killer is also mentioned.
Numerous public figures and politicians have reacted to the death threats and are also calling for an immediate investigation.
