The President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lidija Bradara, yesterday forwarded the Decision on the appointment of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the vice-presidents for confirmation, FENA learns from the office of the President of the FBiH.
During the day, Vice Presidents Refik Lendo and Igor Stojanović are expected to declare whether they will sign the said Decision, which should be sent to the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament for adoption.
The deadline for the formation of the new Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is April 6, and the coalition partners hope that a session of the House of Representatives at which the Government would be appointed should be held by that date.
Based on the agreement on the formation of government between the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) and the other parties of the new parliamentary majority gathered around the SDP, People and Justice Party and Our Party, the candidate for prime minister of the Federation is the president of the Social Democratic Party, Nermin Nikšić, Fena reports.
