The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, met on Thursday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, who is on a working visit.

During the meeting, Konaković emphasized that the intensification of political dialogue between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Denmark reflects a shared commitment to deepening bilateral relations.

He emphasized the extremely significant visit of Minister Rasmussen to BiH as we mark the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, as well as the recent visit of Minister for European Affairs Bjerre.

He wished Denmark a successful presidency of the Council of the EU in the next six months, and expressed hope that Bosnia and Herzegovina will progress on the path of EU integration during that period.

He expressed gratitude for the support and assistance that Denmark has provided to BiH over the years, and above all when it comes to its commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH announced.
