The German Government’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin, paid a two-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) today. According to the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in BiH, this is his first official visit, after the Minister of Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock introduced him as a special envoy during her visit to BiH in early March.

Today in Sarajevo, Sarrazin will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bisera Turkovic, Deputy High Representative Michael Scanlan, and Canton Sarajevo (CS) Prime Minister Edin Forto. A meeting with Jakob Finci and Dervo Sejdic is also planned.

Talks with local government and civil society representatives are planned during the visit to the Brcko District, the statement said.
