The President of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ BiH), Dragan Čović, stated today after the meeting with the Troika parties (SDP BiH, Narod i Pravda, Naša stranka) that the conversation took place in a constructive atmosphere, with gratitude to the host, the President of the SDP-BiH, Nermin Nikšić.

Čović emphasized that during the meeting, key issues related to the functioning of the government at the level of the Federation of BiH were discussed, and praised the manner of communication and the readiness to jointly resolve challenges.

He emphasized the importance of a stable parliamentary majority that can monitor the work of the Federation Government, the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, and expressed optimism that the remaining open issues will be resolved by the end of July.

Nikšić: The coalition at the level of the Federation of BiH is functioning, the FBiH Government is operating at full capacity
The President of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Nermin Nikšić stated that despite the challenges, the coalition at the level of the Federation of BiH is functioning and that the Government of the Federation of BiH is operating at full capacity.

He said this after a meeting of the Troika parties (Social Democratic Party of BiH, People and Justice and Our Party) and the Croatian Democratic Union of BiH, which was held today in Konjic.

He added that at the meeting they had the opportunity to hear from members of the legislative bodies from both houses of the FBiH Parliament how they are also completing their obligations and how they are monitoring the work of the FBiH Government.

– We have agreed on some things that lie ahead of us, and legal solutions would solve certain things for us. In accordance with current practice, in a month or two, we will sit down and summarize what we have done after today’s meeting – said Nikšić.

He expressed satisfaction with the functioning of the legislative and executive authorities within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

– All the challenges that were before us, as well as those that we finally heard from the Federal Minister of Finance, Toni Kraljević, as a solution to the financial stability of the Federation after the adoption of a set of laws, on the minimum wage, support for the economy and other things, do not affect the fiscal stability of the Federation. The Federation fulfills its obligations properly – he said.
