BiH Foreign Minister requests Problem of Congestion at the Border Crossings with Croatia to be solved

The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers, Elmedin Konaković, asked the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, Gordan Grlić Radman, to invest additional efforts in solving the problem of congestion at border crossings, which citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Croatia, are facing.

Today, Konaković wrote a letter to Grlić Radman because of the information he received about large crowds at numerous border crossings between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, the relevant ministry announced.

In the letter, he stated, among other things, that bearing in mind that during the meeting with Grlić Radman and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, he also discussed this issue and received assurances that the Croatian side would be involved in order to overcome such situations, especially bearing in mind that Croatia became part of the Schengen zone.

“I am asking you to make additional efforts in order to try to solve the problems faced by the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Croatia,” the letter added.
