The Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda was on an official visit to Montenegro yesterday where he met with the Prime Minister Milo Đukanović.

Addressing the media, Chairman Bevanda and Prime Minister Đukanović emphasized their satisfaction on the good relations between BiH and Montenegro.

“The visit of the Chairman is an opportunity to make a summary of the good neighborly relations and to speak about possible solutions to specific problems, as well as issues of common interest that could lead to improvement in bilateral relations’’, said Prime Minister Đukanović.

During they meeting it was said that economy best connects people, and that the most amount of time is devoted to considering the modalities for improving economic cooperation through joint infrastructure projects, such as the Adriatic-Ionian highway.

“We devoted a lot of time to economic issues. We spoke of the border crossings and their control. We are happy that there are no serious outstanding issues’’, said Bevanda.

Chairman Bevanda and Prime Minister Đukanović said that BiH and Montenegro have the same priorities regarding European integration and that they should strengthen cooperation in this area.
