A storm wind warning was issued today for the regions of Foča, Prijedor, Banjaluka and Višegrad.
In the afternoon and tonight, southerly and southwesterly winds will strengthen, while during the night it will be windy with strong to stormy winds.
Wind gusts in the western regions will be from 40 to 70 kilometers per hour, and in the mountains over 80 kilometers per hour.
According to meteorologists’ forecasts, stronger showers with thunder and stormy winds are expected tomorrow, while the wind should weaken in all areas by 6 p.m.
Residents are advised to be prepared for disruptions, structural damage and the risk of injury from uprooted trees and wind-borne debris.
Interruptions in electricity supply are also possible.
