The Commission to Preserve National Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina made decisions on the declaration of two properties as national monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the last session, the Commission announced.

The building complex – Lukačka Mosque with the cemetery in Travnik and the Historical building – Roman Bridge in the village of Vučija in Trebinje have been declared national monuments.

The Commission announced that the Roman Bridge in Vučija is also on the List of Endangered Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to its poor structural condition, and it is necessary to carry out urgent structural rehabilitation measures.

The members of the Commission adopted amendments to the decisions made earlier, namely for the historical city area of Trebinje and the construction residential complex – Behmenluk in Stolac.

Amendments to the decision for the historical city area of Trebinje refer to the redefinition of protection measures, in accordance with the situation on the ground.

For the national monument – the Behmenluk housing complex in Stolac, the amendment of the decision refers to the correction of the cadastral plot numbers of the national monument, categorization and addition of protection measures after the reconstruction works on part of the national monument.
