BiH Metal Industry Companies appear for the first time at Fair in Sweden

The Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FTC BH) organized for the first time a joint appearance of BiH companies from the metal industry at the prestigious ELMIA Subcontractor Fair, which opened today in Jonkoping, Sweden and lasts until November 17.

This year, four BiH companies are presenting their products at the joint national stand of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Emerus Široki Brijeg, Niho Motors Konjic, Medena Commerce Tešanj and TMD AGS Gradačac.

The FTC BiH has undertaken activities to invite potential partners and customers with BiH exhibitors, and an e-catalogue of BiH exhibitors has been prepared.

The metal industry in BiH has great potential and there is a noticeable growth in the volume of foreign trade exchange this year, but also the growth of the metal industry by about 3.7 billion KM compared to last year. For nine months of this year, the metal industry with a volume of 13.8 billion KM makes up about 39 percent of the total foreign trade exchange, which amounts to about 35.4 billion KM. The most important export markets are: Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia.

ELMIA Subcontractor  Fair is the leading fair for the metal and electrical industry in Northern Europe and the largest in Sweden, in which more than 1,200 exhibitors usually take part, announced the FTC BiH.
