BiH Minister of Defense at 30th International Forum on Global Security in Paris

zekerijah-osmicUnder the auspices of the French Ministry of Defense, the 30th International Forum on Global Security in Paris began with the topic “Peace and Security-Challenges in the Future”.

In addition to the Ministry of Defense of France, the US Ministry of Defense, NATO headquarters, and other multinational corporations are involved as sponsors.

The importance of this forum at the international level is confirmed by the more than 60 participants from 22 countries in Europe, Asia, America, among which is the US, Canada, China, Japan, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia.

Considerable space to this forum was devoted to topics and issues related to security and other challenges facing NATO after 2014, and ways of building a ‘defense’ of Europe in response to these challenges-especially during crisis, how to organize the mission in Mali, NATO operation in Afghanistan, cyber security, etc.

The BiH Minister of Defense Zekerijah Osmić spoke on the topic “Path of BIH towards EU integration in the context of global security”.

In addition, he met and talked with representatives and delegations of Macedonia, Georgia and Serbia, and representatives of NATO structures, and he had several informal contacts with participants from most other countries, announced the BiH Ministry of Defense.
