Vujanovic CovicMontenegro and BiH are a really good example in the region, without any open issues, as stated by the President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic, and a member of the Presidency of BiH, Dragan Covic.

From the Cabinet of the President of Montenegro was stated that Vujanovic and Covic talked before the summit “Brdo-Brioni”, at Brdo near Kranj and they assessed that there are numerous opportunities for cooperation in the mutual interest of both Montenegro and BiH.

Covic expressed his belief that Montenegro will get important economic benefits from NATO membership and that it will provide its support to countries that have the Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

Vujanovic will participate in the summit process “Brdo-Brioni”, which will be held at Brdo near Kranj in Slovenia today, and the special guest at the meeting is the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

At the bilateral meeting of the member of Presidency of BiH Dragan Covic and President of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov was noted that bilateral relations between the two countries are good and friendly and that further improvement of cooperation in the fields of economy, industry, and trade is in the interest of both countries.

Both countries are firmly determined for their further Euro-Atlantic path, and they are strongly supporting regional cooperation.

The initiative “Brdo-Brioni” gathers countries of former SFRY and Albania.

The process was started by Slovenia and Croatia back in 2013, in an effort to encourage regional cooperation and resolve outstanding issues through reforms and getting closer to the EU.
