The BIH Basketball team beat the Netherlands on Thursday with 53:51 in the first meeting of the European Championship in the B Division that was held in Sarajevo.
The guests led in the first quarter, and the BIH team reversed the result later on. In the third quarter the Dutch started to play well again, and so the game entered into uncertainty in the last part.
12 seconds before the end the score was 51:51, and Nedim Đedović scored in the last second.
In two days, BIH will play against Denmark, on 11 August against Slovakia, and on 12 August against Israel.
Placement in the A Division will go to the three best teams at the end of the competition.
