BiH Police arrested Six Persons for Drug Offences

Six persons from Trebinje were arrested in the “Rent-a-car” operation aimed at preventing the abuse of narcotic drugs, the Trebinje Police Department announced today.

The persons with initials N.M, Đ.M, L.P, M.N, V.N were arrested. and N.Ć. in the action that ended yesterday, according to the press release.

Members of the Trebinje Police Administration previously searched those persons and the passenger car of a business entity from Trebinje.

“N.M, Đ.M, L.P, M.N, and V.N. were deprived of liberty after the search, while the person with the initials N.Ć. was found and arrested in the evening hours of the same day,” the statement said.

The police stated that during the search, persons with the initials M.N. found three precise digital scales, papers with notes on names and monetary amounts and a plastic box with a total weight of 500 grams containing an unknown white powdery substance.

“Also during the operation, on March 10, a black transport bag, weighing 22 kilograms, containing the drug marijuana, was found,” the statement said.

The operational action was carried out under the supervision of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Trebinje and is aimed at preventing the abuse of narcotic drugs in the area of Trebinje.

The Police Administration of Trebinje emphasized that they are continuing their work on documenting criminal offenses in the field of drug offenses.
