BiH Presidency Member and the Malaysian Ambassador to BiH: An Example of Friendly Relations and Cooperation

BiH Presidency Member Denis Bećirović received a farewell visit from the Ambassador of Malaysia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Raja Saifful Ridzuwan. They emphasized that the relations between the two countries are an example of friendly relations and cooperation.

Bećirović thanked the leadership of Malaysia for the support it has continuously provided to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also expressed gratitude for the unreserved support during the adoption of the Resolution on the International Day of Remembrance and Commemoration of the Srebrenica Genocide in 1995. It was emphasized that Malaysia was one of the co-sponsors of that resolution.

The Ambassador of Malaysia to Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH, and emphasized that Malaysia supports the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of our country.

Bećirović emphasized the interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina in improving economic cooperation and attracting Malaysian investors, emphasizing the comparative advantages of BiH, such as a highly qualified workforce, geographical position and natural resources.

The need for further contractual regulation of relations through agreements in various areas was also discussed. In this context, Bećirović emphasized the importance of good and mutual support between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Malaysia in international organizations and bodies, the Office of BiH Presidency Member Denis Bećirović announced.
