The newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Elmedin Konaković, said, after being appointed to that position, that there is a lot of work to do in that sector and that he will start working immediately.
“I cannot say what needs a higher priority, the organization of the Ministry or prompt action in the field of BiH diplomacy,” he pointed out.
One of the first activities, Konaković added, is meetings with members of the BiH Presidency. He expects that he will have no problem making agreements with Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić.
“As for Željka Cvijanović, we will focus on the priorities we agree on,” he pointed out.
Konaković, after the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina where the appointment of the new convocation of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina was confirmed, said that the majority is stable.
Speaking about the formation of the government in the Federation of BiH, he said that he does not see an option for the SDA to form the government.
He explained that the elected presidents and vice presidents must confirm the new convocation of the Government or block its formation, Fena reports.
