Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zeljko Komsic said that Bosnia and Herzegovina has long ago determined its foreign policy priorities through adopted laws and will not change them because they are now a problem for Russian Ambassador to BiH Igor Kalabukhov.

Kalabuhov is at a special session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska said that any external interference, especially the imposition of solutions contrary to the local mentality and historical reality in Bosnia and Herzegovina will have far-reaching and dangerous consequences. Zeljko Komsic, a member of the Presidency of BiH, also commented on these allegations.

Russian Ambassador to BiH Igor Kalabukhov stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina is not on the list of enemy states of Russia, but that his country considers BiH a friendly state. This, as he said, is confirmed by the fact that Russia has renewed the agreement with BiH on gas supply.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina has long ago determined its foreign policy priorities through adopted laws (NATO and the EU) and will not change them because they are now a problem for Kalabukhov. “It may happen. Until then, it certainly won’t, no matter how much the ambassador threatens,” Komsic said.

He believes that Kalabukhov “would find it more useful to declare himself the head of the HDZ’s election headquarters instead of threats.”
