A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, spoke today with the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Johann Sattler, about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bećirović pointed out to Ambassador Johan Satler the anti-constitutional and anti-Dayton activities of the authorities of the entity of RS and said that it is also necessary for the competent international institutions to urgently take the necessary steps in order to protect the constitutional order in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On that occasion, he also handed Ambassador Sattler the White Book of the anti-Dayton Acts of the authorities of the RS entity and called on the European Union to take concrete steps with the aim of preserving peace and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including increasing the number of EUFOR soldiers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Domestic and international representatives must not turn a blind eye to the fact that an unprecedented attack on the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the fundamental provisions of the Dayton Peace Agreement is still ongoing.

Without returning to the framework of constitutionality and legality, it is impossible to seriously resolve any issue in our country. It must be the number one priority for both international and domestic officials. The European Union is one of the witnesses of the Dayton Peace Agreement and has an international obligation to preserve peace and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region,” said Bećirović.
