Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, responded to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, on his invitation to write a draft law and secure a parliamentary majority for the adoption of the law.

After the presentation of the previous work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Konaković referred to Komšić’s statement yesterday that he will not agree to the Eastern and Southern interconnection until the state law on gas is adopted.

Konaković stated that he fully supports the initiative of BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić regarding the need to pass the aforementioned law.

“I hope that he will soon come out with the text of the law on gas, that he will secure a parliamentary majority and that we will vote on it in the parliaments,” he said.

Komšić said that this is not a problem.

“It’s not a problem. If they don’t know how to write a law, we’ll write it for them. And as for the parliamentary majority, I guess they have the parliamentary majority they were appointed for,” said Komšić, Klix.ba reports.
