BiH Presidency members to meet with Angela Merkel

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted at the 24th regular session the invitation of Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel to meet meeting in Berlin on June 30th, 2016.

The Presidency also decided to invite the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan HM Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein to BiH. The invitation of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev for participation in the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the SEECP was accepted as well. It will be held in Sofia, on June 1st, 2016.

Furthermore, they accepted the invitation to participate in the 58th International Military Pilgrimage to Lourdes, which will be held from 20th to 22nd of May 2016. The delegation will be led by BiH Presidency member Dragan Covic.

The session adopted Information on completion of the final meeting of the negotiating teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union, regarding the conclusion of the Protocol to the Stabilisation and Association Process, in order to take account of the Croatian accession to the EU.

The Annual Report of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2015 was adopted, and the Presidency has asked the Administrative Board of the Central Bank and the Deposit Insurance Agency to cooperate with the Council of Ministers, to adjust the salaries and allowances of the employees of the Central Bank and Agency of Insurance deposits.

Delegation of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces will pay an official visit to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, from 23rd to 24th of May 2016.
